Our AHG training programs are aimed at developing the skills of our staff and cover a broad range of areas.

Vehicle Sales Trainees

Our sales trainees are recruited in groups. They are trained together and placed across our NSW dealership network. The Training and Development Manager provides continuous sales technique training, coaching and professional mentoring for up to 12 months. Additionally, there is an opportunity for sales trainees to complete a nationally accredited Certificate IV in Automotive Sales.

Finance and Insurance Trainees

Finance and insurance trainees are responsible for managing the sale of a range of finance and insurance related products to customers purchasing a vehicle. In NSW we’ve developed a rotating program for our trainees to give them a well-rounded exposure to a number of different sites. Additionally, a dedicated trainer is available for specific training and ongoing support.

Aftercare Trainees

NSW’s Aftercare sales consultants with AHG are responsible for advising customers on a range of vehicle car care products including window tint, paint protection, mechanical warranty, and electronics.

Our trainees are provided with manufacturer training programs and mentored by dedicated trainers who provide continuous support.

Service Advisor Trainees

Our Service Advisor Trainee Program is a 2 week intensive training course that was developed internally by a number of experts across the industry. The course provides new Service Advisors with the fundamental theory to succeed in fast paced Service Departments. Industry experts teach trainees the best practice processes and procedures. On completion, trainees have the opportunity of one-on-one training with a service executive, job shadowing, product knowledge training with industry leaders, and sales technique support.
