Standard Mechanical Protection Plan

The AHG Standard Mechanical Protection Plan is provided Free on used vehicle purchased from any WA AHG dealership. By simply servicing your vehicle at the AHG dealership where you purchased your vehicle, you will continue to be covered against a variety of mechanical faults and costly repairs.

What the Standard Mechanical Protection Plan Covers:

Engine

All internally lubricated parts, including: Pistons, Piston Rings and Pins, Crankshaft and Main Bearings, Connecting Rods and Rod Bearings, Camshaft, Timing Chains or Gears, Rocker Arms, Valves and Lifters and the Oil Pump. Exluded from this cover: Cylinder Head(s), Engine Block or Barrels or Blown Head Gaskets.

Differential and Driveline

Bearings, Centre Bearings, Half Shafts, U & CV Joints, U-Bolts, Crown Wheel & OPinion, Gears, Limited Slip Clutch Pack, Drive Shafts, Drive Axle Housing If Damages Are Due To Failure Of Internally Lubricated Components.

Braking System

Calipers, Hydraulic Lines, Master Cylinder, Vacuum Booster, Wheel Cylinders.

Suspension

Covers Front Suspension Only. Control Arms, Radius Rods & Bushes, Top & Bottom Ball Joints, Wheel Bearings & Stub Axles, Sway Bar Bushes.

Fuel Management System

Fuel Pumps, Injector Pump, Injectors.

Transmission

Internally Lubricated Parts Only. Transmission Case If Damages Are Due To Failure Of Internally Lubricated Components.

Clutch Assembley

2wd Vehicles Only. Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate, Clutch fork, Thrust Race Bearingm Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder.

Cooling System

Electric Fan Thermostat, Fan Hub, Thermostat, Water Pump, Radiator Cooling Fan Motor.

Electronics and Electro-Mechanical

Engine Management Computer, Starter Motor, Wiper Motor, Voltage Regulator and Alternator.

Steering

Idler Arms, Power Steering Pump, Steering Rack, Tie Rod Ends, Power Steer Box, Pitman Arms.

Air Conditioning

Compressor and Compressor Clutch.

Other

Seals & Gaskets will be replaced only when such replacement is required in the normal course of repair of a covered component.

 

The Standard Mechanical Protection Warranty is applicable to motor vehicles which are less than 10 years old and/or 160,000kms at time of purchase. The motor vehicle must be serviced every 6 months or 10,000km (3 months or 5,000kms for turbocharged and diesel vehicles) at the selling AHG dealership to maintain the warranty plan. The Standard Mechanical Protection Plan Excludes vehicles purchased from Chellingworth Motors, Skipper Trucks and WA Hino.
